A new powerhouse of British film production and innovation

Located at Thames Valley Science Park near Reading, Shinfield Studios brings a modern film and television production complex over 65 acres of land.

This new facility offers film and television producers 18 new purpose-built sound stages within a development of circa 1 million sq ft. The complex also includes 11 workshops and substantial, contemporary office space.  The project was completed over six phases, with practical completion achieved in April 2024..

Workshops and contemporary office environments will further benefit large blockbuster productions. These new facilities will create a substantial and diverse range of employment opportunities and build on the UK’s global reputation for producing world-class content.
