Choosing your first role in the profession is an important decision. You need to find the organisation that is best suited to you but which will also challenge and provide opportunities to develop your career.

Stace is a RICS-accredited company with an approved structured training scheme. We continually invest in our people, and this includes enrolment on a two-year graduate development scheme which provides the launchpad platform for the start of your career.

Our graduates have always been a vital part of what we do and we look for talented and highly motivated individuals to form the next generation of Stace.

  • What we’re looking for

    We expect our graduates to obtain chartered status, so we are ideally looking for a RICS-accredited degree at a minimum of 2:1 (although we will consider applications from graduates with degrees outside of property and construction).

    We look for the following qualities and attributes:

    • Self-motivated individuals, with the ambition to progress
    • Quick thinkers, who are prepared to take the initiative
    • Team player, who both share and take responsibility
    • Technically excellent and passionate about their chosen discipline
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Commercially aware individuals, who will take an interest in the wider property industry
  • Career development

    We’re firmly committed to the learning and development of every member of our team.

    We encourage, provide and support all types of training and qualifications, and many of our team are currently working towards academic degrees as well as RICS, APM, CIOB, IOSH and other qualifications. Regular CPD events and seminars are arranged to allow you to keep CPD records up to date.

    You will be given the chance to work alongside partners and non-technical colleagues in an open plan office, who will support you throughout your two-year programme and beyond.

    As a Stace graduate, you will be a valued member of the team from day one. However, the responsibility for your career and your own learning and development will ultimately be yours.

FAQs
  • When is the deadline for applications to the Graduate Scheme?

    Applications are open from September onwards. We aim for first-stage interviews to take place at the earliest possible stage, which is often before December.

  • When do we make offers to successful applicants?

    We make our Graduate Development Scheme offers throughout the year, at the earliest possible stage for the candidates.

  • If I’m selected when will my start date be?

    This is mutually agreed. However, we aim for this to be no later than September each year.

  • Do I need a property related degree to join as a graduate trainee?

    We expect all of our graduates to obtain chartered status and ideally we look for a RICS-accredited degree at a minimum of 2:1. However, we would consider applications from non-cognitive degrees.

  • Where will I be located?

    Subject to the locations of interest to you and in line with our business requirements.
