Nigel started his career at Stace and became chartered in 1999.
Nigel moved to DTZ (now part of Cushman & Wakefield) and worked on data centre projects in mainland Europe.
Moving to the Far East in 2003, Nigel spent close to ten years as a contracts and claims consultant working for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, on large infrastructure projects with long stints in Taiwan (ROC) and Japan. Nigel cites his time in Taiwan as having left a lasting impression having worked on a 350km high-speed rail project - the first time bullet train (Shinkansen) technology was exported outside of Japan.
Returning to the UK, and Stace, as a Project Director in 2012, Nigel enjoyed long term secondments into the Royal Bank of Scotland and Jaguar Land Rover in the Midlands. At JLR, Nigel led on the delivery of its state of the art engine manufacturing centre located in Wolverhampton that won the RICS best national regeneration project in 2014. Nigel was promoted to Partner in 2015.
Today, he’s based in the London Office, dividing his time between commissions in the Project Management division and the Development Monitoring and Due Diligence divisions, working with a varied client base including AIG, Telford Homes, Greystar, and The Portman Estate, and enjoying the variety that this affords him. Nigel has proven specialisms in contracts consultancy, commercial management and development monitoring and advisory.
