Kirstie Nagle

Senior Associate

Kirstie joined Stace in 2013 as Secretary and PA to the Project Management team. Discovering her passion for numbers, Stace supported her in converting her degree into a Quantity Surveying Masters in 2017. She achieved RICS chartership two years later.

Now, as a Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor, Kirstie works across sectors including Offices and Commercial, Residential, Retail, and Heritage, with clients such as The Portman Estate, Cadogan Estate, British Land, Dorrington, and Landsec.

Motivated by each project's unique challenges, Kirstie views them as new adventures. She skilfully applies her expertise and logic to overcome obstacles while maintaining exceptional service and delivery.

With responsibility for several projects, Kirstie leads a team, oversees cost estimation and budgeting, tendering, contracts, and risk management. She champions the Offices and Commercial Sector, is a member of the ED&I working group, and serves as a mental health first aider. Kirstie is passionate about being a role model for the next generation.

A keen photographer and true crime documentary enthusiast, Kirstie cherishes time with friends and family.

Nicholas Murphy

Nicholas Murphy

Project Director
Nicholas has been with Stace since 2003, when he joined as a Graduate Building Surveyor. He achieved RICS Chartership in 2012 and transitioned into project management the following year. Over the years, Nicholas has developed deep expertise across large multi-plot developments, infrastructure, residential-led regeneration and mixed-use schemes, as well as industrial and commercial projects. His client portfolio includes British Land, Enfield Council, Wrenbridge, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
 
In his day to day role, Nicholas provides Project Management services which includes acting as an Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator, overseeing design from inception to completion, stakeholder engagement, internal team and resource management, and bidding for new work.
 
He is passionate about sharing knowledge with junior team members, mentoring, problem-solving, and helping to develop the next generation at Stace.
 
At the weekend, Nicholas enjoys walking his German Shepherd, Finn, attending his son’s football matches—he’s never missed a game—and spending time in Donegal, Ireland.

Amy joined Stace in 2010 and moved into her current role as Partnership Secretary in 2017. 

She is primarily responsible for personal assistant tasks, providing dedicated support to the management board. She also supports with insurance matters and commercial compliance, working closely with the HR team and Partnership Accountant, in addition to organising company events and socials. 

Outside of work, Amy can usually be found running around after her two children, spending time with friends, and traveling as much as possible.

She also enjoys amateur photography, finding it helps her slow down and appreciate the present. She loves to capture moments with her children and snap photos of anything that catches her attention.

After earning a Journalism degree from the University of Roehampton, Beatrice completed an MA in Media & Communications before transitioning into Marketing, attracted by the versatility, growth opportunities, and creativity. 

Joining Stace in 2023, Beatrice works closely with the Marketing Manager, acting as brand custodian and managing digital communications across the company website, newsletter, and social media channels.

Outside of work, when she’s not singing (she leads her church choir), she enjoys sharing her culinary adventures on Instagram and TikTok. She is also an enthusiastic baker, with a repertoire including triple chocolate banana bread, cookies, and gooey chocolate brownies.

Having worked with Stace for nearly three decades, Nick is a seasoned IT Coordinator with a deep background in maintaining and optimising IT infrastructure. Known for his technical expertise, he plays a key role in installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of the company’s systems.
 
Nick is always on hand to support colleagues with IT queries, manage helpdesk calls, maintain equipment, and contribute to IT project coordination and vendor management. He thrives on sharing his knowledge and experience with new members of the team.
 
Outside the world of IT, Nick enjoys metal detecting and uncovering the stories behind the historical items he finds.

Doreen joined Stace in January 2024, providing administration and office support to our Birmingham team.

Driven by a lifelong passion for making clothes, Doreen enrolled at a local college to undertake a Clothing Technology and Pattern Cutting course. This led her to a fulfilling position at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, where she crafted made costumes for the stage.

Her professional journey began at HMRC in Birmingham, a role that marked a significant shift in her career. Since then, Doreen has gained extensive experience in administrative roles across a variety of industries, including 13 years at Birmingham Airport.

Away from work, Doreen enjoys spending time with her three children and two grandchildren, and has a keen interest in interior design.

She also impressively made her own wedding dress and is now continuing the tradition by creating the bridesmaids' dresses for her son’s upcoming wedding.

Joe began his career as a contractor where he gained on-site experience across a range of projects. This practical grounding gave him a strong understanding of construction delivery and site operations, invaluable in his work today.

Having achieved his RICS chartership, he moved into consultancy, joining Stace in 2022.

He’s played a key role in developing the QS offering in Birmingham, delivering projects across residential, commercial (new build at Cat A/B fit outs), hospitality, and programme management for major commercial clients. 

Joe has a passion for seeing a project from inception to completion. He particularly enjoys the tangible results at the end of a build, getting a real satisfaction from delivering a project that meets client expectations and is well-received by the end users.

At the weekend, you can find him on the padel court or playing a round of golf.

Rebecca Carter

Assistant Project Manager

Since joining Stace in 2024, Rebecca has worked across a range of projects at the British Museum, focussing on improving fire safety and upgrading mechanical and electrical systems.

Rebecca’s previous career in the arts has given her a unique perspective, which she can bring to these large-scale initiatives.

Currently studying for a Master's in Construction Management via Stace’s Apprenticeship scheme, she can blend academic learning with real-world experience. 

Rebecca’s role involves supporting project managers with the planning and delivery of ambitious programmes, ensuring stakeholder engagement, and meeting tight deadlines. She supervises on-site works, collaborates with architects and contractors, organises and leads meetings, and keeps projects running smoothly. 

Outside of work, she’s passionate about art and loves exploring museums and galleries and immersing herself in London’s vibrant cultural scene. She also plays the cello – formerly in a quartet, she now plays for fun.

Nicola began her career in project management over 20 years ago, working in the retail sector and overseeing retail delivery within shopping centres across the UK.

In 2006, she joined Stace on the Tesco account, managing the fit-out of new stores and various store projects. She later progressed to larger construction schemes with clients such as Aquila, Tottenham Hotspur, and the British Museum, where she led life and fire safety projects within a Grade I listed building.

Nicola is deeply passionate about historic buildings and architecture. She enjoys traveling abroad, exploring different cultures, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. As a mother of three teenagers, who keep her very busy, she enjoys going to the gym in her free time.

Gavin has worked in the construction industry for three years, following five years in the student accommodation sector.

He has completed his Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification and is currently studying towards his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) accreditation, on the path to becoming fully chartered.

In his role, Gavin is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, preparing financial statements, forecasting future results, and managing key account reconciliations.

He is passionate about mentoring emerging finance professionals and helping them grow in their careers.

At the weekend, you’ll most likely find Gavin on the golf course, enjoying a round and refining his swing.

Tyler joined Stace in 2022 and is Team Administrator for the Building Surveying team in the Epping office. She also supports with Building Surveying accounts. After three years at the company, Tyler knows how to format check, quality control and generally check documents.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and creative writing. She also has a strange obsession for Halloween and horrors and will decorate for any occasion!

Stephan has over 15 years of project management expertise, built on a solid foundation in civil engineering. His career spans working with and for clients, consultants, contractors, and developers, and he has delivered high-profile office and residential mixed-use schemes as well as infrastructure projects.

He is a skilled team leader with extensive specialist experience in all aspects of project management, development management and infrastructure engineering.

At Stace, he has worked on projects with many prestigious clients such as the NHS, United Colleges Group, British Land, the Corporation of London and the National Trust.

On the weekends, you can find Stephan rowing competitively on the Thames. He is also a passionate traveller with a multicultural background, having lived in multiple countries around the globe.

Currently studying for his Quantity Surveying degree whilst working, Sean joined Stace in 2024 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

Having worked as an assistant electrical labourer during school holidays, he was inspired to move into Quantity Surveying. His family members, who all work in construction, encouraged him to pursue a role that combined his passion for maths with the practical, fast-paced nature of the industry.

Today, he supports various members of the London Quantity Surveying team through all stages of construction and has worked on projects alongside the following clients: BDO and The Portman Estate.

In his free time, Sean enjoys playing football and is also a qualified referee who helps ref the youth teams at his local football club - Ruislip Rangers FC.

Joshua Herbert

Joshua Herbert

Launching his career with Currie & Brown, Joshua gained experience in cost verification exercises for HS2 enabling works, cost planning, and NEC contract administration. 

Since joining Stace, he’s managed numerous residential and commercial office refurbishments, for clients including British Land, the Cadogan Estate, and The Portman Estate, and gets a reward from feeling he’s added value for clients, going the extra mile when he can.

Now working towards his RICS chartership, Joshua has several other qualifications already under his belt, having completed his Surveying Technician Diploma, passed the AssocRICS assessment as part of his Surveying Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship, and graduated with First Class Honours in Quantity Surveying from UCEM.

In his spare time, Joshua enjoys travelling – visiting new places and experiencing different cultures – whenever he can.

Elly joined Stace in 2014 after completing her Mathematics degree. Initially part of the administration team, she moved into a technical role in 2017 while studying for a Master’s in Construction Management.
 
Elly currently works as a Senior Project Manager in our Birmingham office, where she also delivers monitoring surveying services.
 
She has vast experience delivering student accommodation and heritage projects, having worked with clients such as McLaren Property and the National Trust.
 
After achieving RICS Chartership in 2023, Elly has been dedicated to supporting graduates in the Birmingham office through their APC journey.
 
Outside of work, Elly is passionate about fundraising for causes close to her heart. Following her recent diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes, she completed a 62-mile run in March, raising £650 for Diabetes UK.
 
She is also a Wolves fan and fondly recalls her dad taking her to every home game from the age of 5!

Peter joined Stace as a Quantity Surveyor in April 1997, later transitioning to the project management division in 2008.

Now working as a Project Director, he brings nearly three decades of industry experience and has delivered successful projects for a range of valued clients including BeFirst, Rangeford Villages, Hackney Council, and Marks & Spencer.

Outside of work, Peter is known for his love of travel and can often be found on holiday. He also enjoys staying active through running and swimming.

Having obtained a degree in Construction Project Management and gained experience as an Assistant Project Manager across residential, infrastructure and commercial projects, Abigail joined Stace in April 2025.

At Stace, Abigail's responsibilities include stakeholder management and time management, and she has collaborated with a number of clients including Latimer Homes and British Land on office and residential developments.

Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking and skiing, and has also volunteered in Cambodia.

Attracted by the team approach and projects across a vast range of sectors, Mark joined Stace’s Project Management Division as an Associate in 2010. 

Jumping straight into the Wembley Park regeneration project with Quintain, an ongoing £1bn project spanning 20 years, Mark earned his stripes and became Partner in 2015. Alongside Wembley, Mark has looked after delivery for numerous clients including Citygrove Securities, Generali, Landsec, Legal & General and Muse.

A Senior Partner, Mark boasts 20 years in the industry and a passion for sustainability and attracting and developing the next generation. Mark heads up Stace’s Responsible Business commitment and future leaders’ development scheme.
