Georgia has nearly two years’ construction industry experience, starting as a graduate at a major contractor in Central London, where she worked with clients including Berkeley and Forseven. 

She holds an MA (Hons) in Finance and Business from the University of Edinburgh and is currently studying for an MSc in Quantity Surveying, with the aim of completing her APC thereafter.

A naturally curious individual, Georgia loves to ask questions and thrives on exploring the intricate details of different projects and industries.

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys drawing, hiking, and actively volunteering. Over the years, she has participated in initiatives such as the ICL Maker Challenge, Dragon Boat Racing in Canary Wharf, and the YMCA Girls Mentor programme, among many others.

Nicholas Murphy

Nicholas Murphy

Project Director
Nicholas has been with Stace since 2003, when he joined as a Graduate Building Surveyor. He achieved RICS Chartership in 2012 and transitioned into project management the following year. Over the years, Nicholas has developed deep expertise across large multi-plot developments, infrastructure, residential-led regeneration and mixed-use schemes, as well as industrial and commercial projects. His client portfolio includes British Land, Enfield Council, Wrenbridge, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
 
In his day to day role, Nicholas provides Project Management services which includes acting as an Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator, overseeing design from inception to completion, stakeholder engagement, internal team and resource management, and bidding for new work.
 
He is passionate about sharing knowledge with junior team members, mentoring, problem-solving, and helping to develop the next generation at Stace.
 
At the weekend, Nicholas enjoys walking his German Shepherd, Finn, attending his son’s football matches—he’s never missed a game—and spending time in Donegal, Ireland.

Project Manager

George came to Stace in 2022 during his placement year whilst studying at UCL's Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. He returned in 2024, after completing his degree and graduating with first-class honours.

He currently manages a key enabling works project that feeds into the wider British Museum Energy Centre Programme, which Stace has been appointed to deliver.

George is passionate about working in heritage settings, particularly within live buildings and busy tourist attractions. He takes pride in mitigating disruption to the visitor experience wherever possible.

Outside of work, George enjoys playing and watching sports, especially football and tennis and spending time with family and friends. A lover of live music, he can often be found attending gigs on the weekend.

Brodie Harrower

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Brodie has worked in the construction industry for nearly 15 years. He served an apprenticeship as a plumber before becoming a commercial gas and heating engineer. He then went back to university to study Quantity Surveying part-time while working as a self-employed contractor. He joined Stace in his third year of university and recently graduated with first-class honours in Quantity Surveying.

He now oversees the day to day running of the Arch Company Framework, where we have a small team currently delivering over 25 projects. He has been responsible for taking these various projects from pre-construction through to delivery for clients such as The Football Association, Silverstone Racetrack, the City of London, and the NHS.

Away from the office, Brodie can be found playing golf and prides himself on his special talent - a niche knowledge of 90s footballers.

Jacob Fitch

Project Director

With an academic background in Interior Architecture, Jacob began his career at an architectural practice, where he spent five years before transitioning into construction and then project management.

Joining Stace in 2015 as a Project Manager, over the past decade, Jacob has progressed through roles as Senior Project Manager, Associate (following his RICS Chartership), and now serves as Project Director.

Jacob’s role involves leading design projects from inception to completion, managing internal teams and resources, bidding for new schemes, developing project delivery strategies, and overseeing stakeholder engagement.

He is passionate about delivering high-quality projects and adding value throughout the process—unlocking programme challenges and navigating complex sites with confidence.

When not managing projects, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family, playing cricket, running, cycling across the South Downs, or relaxing at the beach.

Christian Sheen

Christian Sheen

Bid Assistant

As Bid Assistant, Christian’s role is central to supporting Stace’s new business and growth efforts. 

Christian joined Stace in 2012 as an Apprentice Administration Assistant, whilst studying Business & Administration at Hertford Regional College, transitioning into the Bid team in 2022.

Today he is responsible for bid support, creating bid documents and presentations, maintaining staff CVs, and creating and tailoring capability statements for prospective clients.

Outside of work, Christian has a passion for electronic music and travels to music festivals in different countries, enjoying the opportunity to travel as much as he can. His travels to date have included taking in the breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula from the most South-Western point of the African continent.

Rosie Jackson

Rosie Jackson

HR & Learning and Development Advisor

Joining Stace as an HR & Learning and Development Advisor in January 2023, Rosie has since embarked upon her Level 7 Senior People Professional apprenticeship, which will lead to her becoming chartered.

Rosie is responsible for the ongoing learning and development of all colleagues; she oversees and coordinates the APC; leads and continuously develops the Graduate Development Scheme. Rosie evaluates and seeks to improve employee engagement, health, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion, maintaining policies to ensure legal compliance.

As a qualified teacher, Rosie loves to share her knowledge with all members of the team, and gets a kick out of seeing people develop and thrive. 

Outside of work, she’s a huge Disney fan, has an addiction to custard creams, and has racked up over 3,000 hours on Sims 4.

Stuart Syddell

Stuart Syddell is a Senior Partner and a member of the Management Board, leading the Quantity Surveying team in London.

Stuart joined Stace in 1991 as an apprentice Quantity Surveyor. Earning his First-Class degree from the University of Greenwich in 1996, he obtained his chartership in 1999, and became Partner in 2008.

Stuart has delivered projects across sectors, including residential, Build to Rent (including HRBs), senior living, student accommodation, commercial, retail, leisure, healthcare, and sport. His clients include Grainger PLC, Greystar, Landsec, Muse Places, Tottenham Hotspur FC, and TfL.

Known for his collaborative and solutions-focused approach, Stuart is passionate about mentoring future surveyors. He regularly speaks at Reading University, attends careers fairs, and was instrumental in reintroducing Stace’s apprenticeship scheme in 2018.

In his free time, Stuart enjoys cycling, golf, following his football team, Formula 1, and rugby. With two daughters who swim competitively, Stuart is also a qualified J1 swimming official, often found poolside on weekends, stopwatch in hand, proudly supporting the next generation in and out of the water.

Kadi Ouattara

Kadi Ouattara

Quantity Surveyor

Joining Stace in 2025 as a Quantity Surveyor, Kadi brought with her five years’ experience as a trainee and having completed a degree apprenticeship, allowing her to combine real-world experience with academic study. 

Since joining Stace, Kadi has worked with clients including BT, Boxpark, and the National Trust, preparing budget estimates, cost plans, tender and contract documents, carrying out site inspections, meeting with and reporting to the client. 

A solution-focussed individual, Kadi enjoys the variety of projects and the different challenges and learning opportunities along the way - whether that’s on heritage sites, fast-paced fit-outs, or large infrastructure projects.

Passionate about quality time with friends, family, and colleagues, Kadi likes to feel she’s giving back, either through supporting charities or her own acts of kindness. She’s also a keen traveller and enjoys DIY.

Amir began his career as a Bench Joiner and then a Site Carpenter for a large construction firm. His passion for the built environment led him to transition into Building Surveying.

He joined Stace in 2021 at the Epping Office as a Senior Surveyor and is now a Senior Associate. In this role, Amir manages new instructions and supports the team in delivering a high-quality service. He has worked on a range of projects for varying clients including Columbia Threadneedle, London Borough of Havering, The National Trust, Co-Op, Harlow District Council, Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, CBRE Global Investors, London Borough of Redbridge, and Merlin Entertainments; to name a few.

In his spare time, he loves spending quality time with family and friends, travelling abroad to see new places, coffee, and a cold beer.

Amir isn’t a lover of clutter; he prides himself on being organised and orderly — which transfers to his role as a Building Surveyor, where being organised and managing many instructions, big and small, is key.

Having worked with Stace for nearly three decades, Nick is a seasoned IT Coordinator with a deep background in maintaining and optimising IT infrastructure. Known for his technical expertise, he plays a key role in installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of the company’s systems.
 
Nick is always on hand to support colleagues with IT queries, manage helpdesk calls, maintain equipment, and contribute to IT project coordination and vendor management. He thrives on sharing his knowledge and experience with new members of the team.
 
Outside the world of IT, Nick enjoys metal detecting and uncovering the stories behind the historical items he finds.

Steven brings over 25 years of experience, having started out as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. He achieved RICS Chartership in 2007 and joined Stace in 2018. Since then, he has continued to build his expertise in the healthcare sector, while also working across commercial, industrial, and life sciences projects.

Steven is particularly experienced in healthcare, having worked with a wide range of NHS Trusts including Cambridge University Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and when not working on projects, can often be found running a taxi service for his children – ferrying them between football, cricket, Beavers, Brownies, ballet, and choir practice. He’s frequently roped into volunteering too, though thankfully, he hasn’t yet been asked to wear a ballet tutu... yet!

Currently studying for his Quantity Surveying degree whilst working, Sean joined Stace in 2024 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

Having worked as an assistant electrical labourer during school holidays, he was inspired to move into Quantity Surveying. His family members, who all work in construction, encouraged him to pursue a role that combined his passion for maths with the practical, fast-paced nature of the industry.

Today, he supports various members of the London Quantity Surveying team through all stages of construction and has worked on projects alongside the following clients: BDO and The Portman Estate.

In his free time, Sean enjoys playing football and is also a qualified referee who helps ref the youth teams at his local football club - Ruislip Rangers FC.

Yanka Tileva

Accounts Payable Coordinator

Yanka is an accounting professional with over 15 years' experience across diverse sectors including manufacturing, hospitality, entertainment, and construction. She holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Audit and completed her AAT studies in London.

Originally from Bulgaria, Yanka successfully transitioned her career in the UK, bringing adaptability and resilience to multicultural environments. She embraces change as a powerful opportunity to grow and expand her horizons.

Since joining Stace in 2018, she has enjoyed being part of the Finance team, where she continues to contribute to the company’s growth and success.

When not working with numbers, Yanka is passionate about travelling, spending quality time with her family, and exploring innovations in the beauty industry.

Tyler Sharp

Tyler began his career in the construction industry in 2017, starting out as an apprentice while completing his BSc (Hons) degree.

He joined Stace in 2023 and has since contributed to a variety of projects, working with prestigious clients such as the Royal Household, English Heritage, and the National Trust. Over the past few years, Tyler has developed expertise in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration. He is currently preparing to sit his APC with RICS.

Tyler is passionate about all things sci-fi and fantasy. He also is dyslexic, and prides himself on approaching problems from unique angles.

James began his career as a trainee at Stace in 1989, rising through the ranks to Partner in 2010. Achieving chartered status in 2003 and becoming a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in 2014.

Citing many milestones, he is particularly proud of the City of Westminter College’s new education campus at Paddington Basin (2005), his appointment as Framework Manager for the British Museum (2012), delivering key buildings at Cambridge Science Park (from 2016), and new film studios for Shinfield Studios (2021). 

James manages teams in London and Cambridge and sits on the Marketing & New Business Committee, driving the company’s rebrand and PR initiatives, and this new website (2025).

James values sharing his experience and learning from new generations, how they communicate, their expectations, and how they see work and life. 

A red wine enthusiast, he claims his piano skills are improved with a glass or two.

Billy joined Stace in 2022 as a Graduate Project Manager, after earning an MSc in Building Surveying and Facilities Management, following a career in Higher Education and as an international expedition leader.

At Stace, he’s worked with clients including BT, Silverstone, and Stoneleigh Park, thriving on the challenge of aligning diverse stakeholder priorities, experiences, and perspectives to achieve successful outcomes. 

Billy is passionate about getting to know his client organisation, understanding how they operate, and developing processes that help drive projects forward. He also loves a good spreadsheet.

Outside of Stace, Billy has guided Land’s End to John O’Groats bike rides, night ascents of Ben Nevis, and has twice lead school groups in successful ascents of Kilimanjaro. He’s also circumnavigated the Isle of Arran in a kayak and crossed Scotland in a Canoe.

Lewis has worked in and around the building services/construction industry for the entirety of his career, joining Stace in 2023 after a whistlestop tour through various qualifications and positions.

With an NVQ Modern Apprenticeship in Heating, Ventilation, Service & Maintenance, and associated qualification in electrical installation, Lewis spent 13 years in Facilities Management and Health and Safety for a government law enforcement agency. 

Adding an independent Facilities Management qualification (BIFM) before focussing on Health & Safety, gaining his National General Certificate and Level 3 Learning & Development qualification (among others), Lewis moved into training, delivering courses in Asbestos Awareness, IOSH Managing Safely, UKPIA - Petrol Station Safety & Management.

Joining the CDM team at Shore Engineering in 2015, Lewis delivered CDM Principal Designer services before moving to Munday + Cramer in 2019.

Lewis added Football Association Manager to his CV in 2020, and he also plays a little golf!
