Aaron Clarke

Senior Project Manager

Aaron has worked in the industry for over a decade, beginning his career after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Land Planning and Development. His first role, with a retirement village developer in New Zealand, provided valuable insight into residential development and stakeholder engagement. He later transitioned into planning consultancy and subsequently into project management, joining the development team at New Zealand’s largest supermarket company, where he led and supported a range of retail projects.

After relocating to the UK in 2019, Aaron joined Stace as a Project Manager and has continued to grow professionally ever since. He has worked across a diverse portfolio of projects and services, collaborating with clients such as McLaren Property, City of London Corporation, Enfield Council, and IQ Student Accommodation. He thrives on the dynamic nature of project management, bringing teams together, solving complex challenges, and delivering outcomes that make a tangible impact.

Born in London, Aaron moved to New Zealand at the age of eight, before returning to the UK as an adult.

Away from the office, Aaron enjoys supporting his favourite football team, Arsenal FC, spending time with his family, cooking, travelling, and playing social sports.

Elly joined Stace in 2014 after completing her Mathematics degree. Initially part of the administration team, she moved into a technical role in 2017 while studying for a Master’s in Construction Management.
 
Elly currently works as a Senior Project Manager in our Birmingham office, where she also delivers monitoring surveying services.
 
She has vast experience delivering student accommodation and heritage projects, having worked with clients such as McLaren Property and the National Trust.
 
After achieving RICS Chartership in 2023, Elly has been dedicated to supporting graduates in the Birmingham office through their APC journey.
 
Outside of work, Elly is passionate about fundraising for causes close to her heart. Following her recent diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes, she completed a 62-mile run in March, raising £650 for Diabetes UK.
 
She is also a Wolves fan and fondly recalls her dad taking her to every home game from the age of 5!

Katharine Flank

Project Director

With 25 years in the industry, Katharine has been a Chartered Surveyor for over 20. 

Beginning her career as a Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent, she later moved into Development Monitoring and today boasts a great deal of experience in all aspects of development. 

As a Project Director in Stace’s Monitoring Surveying team, Katharine is responsible for providing Funder Representative, Development, Fund and Compliance Monitoring Services to a wide range of clients. 

Having worked for a host of high-profile clients, including The Portman Estate, Greystar, and HSBC, she excels in working on developments with complex contractural challenges and funding agreements.

Katharine gets a great deal of satisfaction providing guidance and being a friendly sounding board to colleagues approaching their APC. In her free time, you can find Katharine at the beach, whether that’s walking in the winter, swimming, or trying to improve her paddle-boarding in the summer.

Jessa began her career at Stace in 2018 as a degree apprentice, attaining her RICS chartership in 2023 and quickly establishing herself as a rising talent in the industry. She's currently pursuing a master's in Sustainability Leadership in the Built Environment at the University of Cambridge.

Her cost management experience spans residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, with notable clients including local authorities (London Boroughs of Bromley and Enfield, St Albans City and District Council and Portsmouth City Council), Rangeford Villages, and Places for People.

Jessa has led and supported initiatives through the sustainability working group and the ED&I committee, as well as developing training programmes for incoming apprentices. Her contributions led to finalist nominations in the “Rising Star” and “Apprentice of the Year” categories at the 2023 London Construction Awards and RICS Matrics Awards.

An avid volunteer, Jessa currently supports RICS Matrics, the REB NextGen Committee, Cancer Research UK, and Columbus School and College. Outside work, she can be found dressmaking, playing board games, composing and performing music.

Katie joined Stace as a Trainee Building Surveyor in 2007, completing her degree part-time while gaining valuable industry experience. Earning her degree in 2012, she has since enjoyed working across the healthcare, office, and educational sectors, taking pride in seeing projects and ideas evolve from initial discussions to tangible outcomes.
 
Katie's responsibilities include developing feasibility designs based on client briefs, preparing planning applications and building regulation submissions, managing consultants throughout the design stages, and carrying out CAD design.
 
At the weekend, you can find her travelling, exploring, or spending time with her family.

Annabel Wingfield

Annabel joined Stace in November 2024 to start her career in project management, gaining hands-on experience while simultaneously pursuing a Master’s in Construction Management.

She is currently involved in delivering a luxury design studio and office space, as well as a technically specialised prototype development unit for a confidential client. Alongside this, Annabel works closely with BT strategic leads on projects aimed at rationalising their property portfolio, ranging from mothballing and property vacations to service re-provisioning.

Annabel is an avid adventurer and animal rights advocate. One of her proudest achievements is climbing Mt Kinabalu in Malaysia, and she continues to explore the outdoors through hiking in Scotland, having completed four of the iconic Bens. Her passion for animal welfare stems from her time working and volunteering with the RSPCA.

On weekends, you’ll likely find Annabel baking, running, or discovering new coffee shops – always with a good book in hand.

With 18 years of industry experience, Matthew began his career as an apprentice at Stace in 2007.

Now a Quantity Surveyor at Associate level, he has delivered projects across a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Education, Residential, Industrial, and Healthcare. His client portfolio includes the London Borough of Enfield, Royal Mail, Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust, and Tesco.

A keen darts player, Matthew can often be found at the oche. Whether it’s a casual match with friends or a local league competition, he enjoys the game as a way to unwind and keep his competitive edge sharp.

Georgia has nearly two years’ construction industry experience, starting as a graduate at a major contractor in Central London, where she worked with clients including Berkeley and Forseven. 

She holds an MA (Hons) in Finance and Business from the University of Edinburgh and is currently studying for an MSc in Quantity Surveying, with the aim of completing her APC thereafter.

A naturally curious individual, Georgia loves to ask questions and thrives on exploring the intricate details of different projects and industries.

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys drawing, hiking, and actively volunteering. Over the years, she has participated in initiatives such as the ICL Maker Challenge, Dragon Boat Racing in Canary Wharf, and the YMCA Girls Mentor programme, among many others.

Tony began his career in the construction industry in 2006 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Summers-Inman, where he laid the foundation for his skills in cost planning, tendering, and contract administration. This early exposure gave him a solid grounding in the fundamentals of quantity surveying across various sectors.
 
Having spent three years at Wilby & Burnett, expanding his experience into education and public sector projects, Tony joined Stace in 2011, becoming Partner in 2022.
 
Throughout his career, Tony has remained committed to delivering value, maintaining integrity, and fostering innovation.
 
Now, as Partner, Tony mentors and develops future leaders, sharing his journey and instilling his commitment to client outcomes. He also leads client relationships and major project commissions across multiple sectors with clients including Merlin Entertainment and McLaren Property.
 
In his spare time, Tony is passionate about photography, particularly street photography—a hobby that began during the initial Covid lockdown.

Emily has been working in the industry for seven years, beginning her career as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at a consultancy firm specialising in New Engineering Contracts (NEC). During this time, she built valuable experience across infrastructure, roadworks, utilities, and telecommunications projects.

She joined Stace in 2022, enjoying the transition into the building sector and finding it rewarding to work closely with project teams and manage costs from early design stages through to completion.

Since joining the company, Emily has worked with numerous clients including Greystar, Landsec, MUSE, Connected Living London, and Portsmouth City Council.

In her day to day role, she provides cost planning, estimating, and contract management services. She is passionate about collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects.

Away from the office, Emily enjoys exploring new places - especially when good food is involved!

Ben began his career eight years ago at Turner & Townsend, where he worked on major infrastructure projects including the Heathrow third runway and Network Rail’s Crossrail programme.

In 2019, Ben joined Stace and became a Chartered Project Manager in 2020. Since then, he has played a key role in several high-profile developments, including 155 Bishopsgate a large commercial refurbishment with British Land, a new medical research laboratory for Imperial College London, and more recently, a hotel and residential tower project for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Ben is passionate about building collaborative team environments and takes pride in delivering successful outcomes and long-lasting relationships across every project he works on. He also serves as a RICS supervisor, supporting the next generation of professionals on their chartership journey.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing golf and spending weekends with friends, often exploring new restaurants

Having grown up in Brisbane, Australia, Toby moved to London in 2018, having achieved a Bachelor of Business Management (Major in Property Development) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Finance) at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.

Toby attained chartered status with the CIOB in 2020 and joined Stace in 2022. Since then, he’s worked on large residential schemes with Telford Homes and managed some smaller commercial and infrastructure projects. 

Outside of work, Toby enjoys travel, history, and sport, particularly rugby, which he played for over 25 years, both in Australia and in the UK.

Callum is currently working towards his Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications while gaining valuable hands-on experience and building a strong foundation in accounting and finance.

In his day-to-day role, he provides general support within the finance department, assisting with tasks such as invoice processing, reconciliations, and management accounts.

Callum has a keen eye for problem-solving and enjoys streamlining processes to make finance operations more efficient.

At the weekend, you can find him on the football pitch playing with his local team.

Having started at Stace in 1997 as a Quantity Surveying graduate, Ian later moved into project analysis.
 
His role also includes maintaining detailed internal records on various key projects across the company, where work streams are continuous with the same clients. As a Project Analyst, he prides himself on being thorough, highly analytical, and detail-oriented.
 
Ian has worked on a wide range of projects, often providing complex analysis for clients such as the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Tesco, Co-op, Royal Mail, local authorities, and Orange (now EE).
 
A dedicated Ipswich Town supporter, Ian has been a season ticket holder for over 25 years, experiencing the dark days of League One as well as the highs (and lows) of the Premier League. Aside from being a football enthusiast, he enjoys creative writing and has had several pieces performed on stage and radio. He has also written for a film due to be released in 2025.

Fiona has worked in the construction industry for more than 10 years, having started in architecture and qualifying as an Architect.

In 2021, she transitioned into Project Management, joining a consultancy where she delivered projects for clients including L&Q, Sage Homes, Peabody, the London Borough of Newham, and the London Borough of Haringey.

Since joining Stace in August 2024, Fiona has worked across retail, commercial and residential schemes alongside clients Landsec, Quintain and Norge Bank.

An avid traveller, Fiona enjoys hiking, exploring new places and keeping up with the latest food trends. 

During her childhood, she attended a performing arts school where she studied tap dance and ballet, later auditioning for two West End productions—The King and I and Miss Saigon.

Richard Fox

Having joined Stace in 1997, Richard became Partner in 2021, now jointly responsible for managing the Health and Safety department, leading the delivery of CDM services.

After graduating from Exeter University with a BA in Geography he spent a year working as a labourer before joining Stace as an assistant Planning Supervisor under the newly introduced CDM regulations. 

Over his 28-year tenure, Richard has worked with public and private-sector clients across all industry sectors and for the last 15-years, has worked closely with Quintain on the redevelopment of the area around Wembley Stadium. 

Richard is passionate about a job well done, and mentors many of the more junior members of the department, is involved in the Graduate Development Scheme and Next Gen programmes.

Every Saturday morning, you’ll find Richard at a local parkrun. He’s completed almost 400 to date, having visited over 160 locations across five countries.
