Martin Ford

Divisional Director
Martin has worked in the construction industry for over 35 years, joining Stace in 1987 after leaving school. He graduated in 1993 with a degree in Quantity Surveying and became RICS chartered in 1997.

Based in our Cambridge office as Divisional Director in the Cost Management team, Martin has worked on a range of projects—from warehouses to supermarkets, heritage buildings, restaurants, and film studios.

Citing his passions within his role, he enjoys the early stages of a project, where budgets are established and cost models are developed for new schemes. Of recent, he has embraced the role of mentor to younger members of the team, who come to him for advice—and occasionally, a shoulder to cry on.

In his spare time, Martin enjoys live sport, especially rugby union and motorsport, along with his rediscovered passion for motorcycling—having recently completed a 2,000 mile round trip to northern Spain.
