Billy Borg

Billy Borg

CDM Consultant

Billy began his professional career in education before transitioning into the construction and health & safety industry, where he has built a strong foundation in CDM consultancy and Principal Designer duties. After achieving the NEBOSH General Certificate, he developed experience across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, and commercial and residential projects.

He joined Stace in 2025 as a CDM Consultant and Principal Designer. Throughout his career, Billy has supported a wide range of public and private sector clients, including NHS Trusts, North Kent College, Knight Dragon Developments and various educational establishments.

Billy enjoys collaborating with project teams to identify design risks early and promote practical, proportionate safety measures that enhance both buildability and user safety. He is passionate about fostering a strong health and safety culture within design and construction teams.

Outside of work, Billy enjoys travel and seeking out new experiences, whether that’s exploring new places, relaxing on holiday, or spending time with family and friends. He is a keen sports fan who previously played rugby and has more recently developed a love for golf. Naturally competitive, Billy enjoys the social side of sport, whether that’s a round of golf or a board game night with friends.

Fraser Rumble

Project Director

Fraser joined Stace as a Graduate Project Manager in 2014. Now a Project Director, he provides Project Management, Employers Agent, and Contract Administration services.

Over the past ten years, he has worked with many notable clients, including British Land, City of London Corporation, LaSalle Investment Management, Telford Homes, and The Portman Estate, acting as the main point of contact and often lead Project Manager. 

Fraser has a passion for giving back and supporting younger members of the team. He is also a RICS APC Assessor.

As part of the Environmental Focus Group, Fraser supports the business to measure, monitor, and reduce its carbon footprint and is able to share his experience in decarbonisation of existing buildings, material re-use, and low-carbon construction methodologies with clients. 

At the weekend, he can be found running (ever training for the next half or full marathon), walking his dog Lenny, playing golf, or spending time with friends and family.

Michael Dalling

Facilities Manager

Having joined Stace in 1999, Michael's tenure offers a wealth of institutional knowledge and hands-on experience to his role as Facilities Manager at our Epping office. He began his journey with the company at just 17, starting out in the photocopy and post room, and progressing to the Project Management team as a PM Assistant before transitioning into Facilities Management.

In his current role, Michael supports a wide range of responsibilities including strategic planning, service management, operations and maintenance, health and safety, space management, fire safety and security, contract management, and equipment purchasing and upkeep.

He also serves as both a first aider and mental health first aider in the Epping office, contributes to event management, and organises the weekly five-a-side football matches. 

Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing football, going to the gym, mountain biking, watching films, and collecting vintage action figures. He’s also a dedicated member of a weekly quiz team and takes pride in being a self-described ‘super-recogniser.’

Launching his career with Currie & Brown, Joshua gained experience in cost verification exercises for HS2 enabling works, cost planning, and NEC contract administration. 

Since joining Stace, he’s managed numerous residential and commercial office refurbishments, for clients including British Land, the Cadogan Estate, and The Portman Estate, and gets a reward from feeling he’s added value for clients, going the extra mile when he can.

Now working towards his RICS chartership, Joshua has several other qualifications already under his belt, having completed his Surveying Technician Diploma, passed the AssocRICS assessment as part of his Surveying Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship, and graduated with First Class Honours in Quantity Surveying from UCEM.

In his spare time, Joshua enjoys travelling – visiting new places and experiencing different cultures – whenever he can.

Shahzada joined Stace in 2025, working within the Accounts team as a Timesheet and Expenses Coordinator. She is a qualified Accounts Technician with 15 years of experience across both accounting practices and commercial sectors.

She’s passionate about organisation and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Shahzada finds genuine satisfaction in ensuring everything balances – whether it’s verifying that timesheets are accurate and submitted on time, or making sure expense reports align with company policy.

Known as the go-to person for keeping things in order, she enjoys being someone others can rely on.

Outside of work, Shahzada loves spending time with her family and friends, who help her stay grounded and remind her of the importance of balance and patience in both personal and professional life. She also enjoys practising yoga as a way to slow down, reflect, and recharge.

Maria brings over 20 years of payroll expertise, spanning everything from calculating pay and managing taxes to overseeing employee benefits and pensions across a wide range of sectors.

The past 11 years of her career has been spent with Stace, where she’s been trusted to manage the full payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while complying with tax laws and regulations—a role that she feels highly valued and supported in.

Maria describes herself as an outdoors enthusiastic and regularly engages on outdoors activities. She spends her free time cycling, playing tennis, gardening, and hiking—activities that keep her energised and connected to nature.

Joey joined Stace at just 18 years old and has grown with the business ever since. He began his career as a trainee quantity surveyor, progressed to graduate surveyor, and after successfully achieving his RICS accreditation, became a Chartered Surveyor.

Driven by a passion for delivering projects and collaborating closely with clients, Joey transitioned into Project Management. His commitment and leadership led to his appointment as a Partner within the Project Management division, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-profile retail projects for clients including Tesco, The Co-op Group, and Marks & Spencer.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Joey heads the Leeds office and jointly leads the retail sector group.

In his free time, Joey enjoys spending quality time with his daughters. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast, with a love for skiing, mountain biking, and beach getaways.

Following the successful completion of his Building Surveying degree, Nick joined Stace in 1998 and went on to achieve Chartered Surveyor status in 2000 after sitting his APC.

Throughout his career at Stace, Nick has worked with a wide range of clients on complex and challenging projects. He thrives on the variety of work the business undertakes and values the close collaboration across divisions and with colleagues.

In his day to day role, Nick is involved in project delivery, contract administration, professional building surveying instructions, party wall matters, and provides ongoing support to colleagues within the Building Surveying division.

Beyond the office, Nick enjoys family time, being outdoors, camping holidays and outdoor cooking.

Peter Moore

Project Director

Peter joined Stace as a Quantity Surveyor in April 1997, later transitioning to the project management division in 2008.

Now working as a Project Director, he brings nearly three decades of industry experience and has delivered successful projects for a range of valued clients including BeFirst, Rangeford Villages, Hackney Council, and Marks & Spencer.

Outside of work, Peter is known for his love of travel and can often be found on holiday. He also enjoys staying active through running and swimming.

Mel Adams

Mel Adams

Senior Project Manager

Mel has worked in the Project Management industry for over 20 years, starting her career as a Project Co-ordinator and progressing to her current role as a Senior Project Manager through hard work and determination. Her career has spanned various companies, beginning with BT on the WHS Account.

She has always worked within the retail sector and enjoys the fast-paced environment it offers. Recent clients include Tesco Stores Ltd, Co-op Food Stores and Funeral Care Sites.

Mel joined Stace in 2021 and has embraced the opportunity to work across the construction industry—a new chapter in her career, having previously held a position as an IT Project Manager.

Outside of project management, Mel recently earned her BSAC Sports Diver qualification and is now certified to dive to 40 metres. She’s looking forward to diving in Malta, where the visibility and warmth will be a welcome change from her previous experiences.

Beyond scuba diving, Mel loves skiing, Ceroc (modern jive dancing), and spending time with her family and animals at home.

Mani Gabbidon

Senior Building Safety Consultant

Mani brings over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career as an Assistant Project Manager, spending four years working on small residential projects. He later undertook apprenticeships with architectural practices and collaborated with principal contractors on large-scale commercial and residential developments. During this time, he also completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Architecture.

Mani went on to pursue a degree in Architectural Technology, taking on the role of Design Manager. After graduating, his interest in health and safety led him to transition into the CDM field, where he has worked for almost seven years.

In 2024, Mani joined the Health & Safety team at Stace as a Senior Building Safety Consultant. His day to day responsibilities include overseeing safety plans and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Outside of work, Mani is a passionate DJ, creating house and techno sets – and has even supported a world-famous DJ.

Jessa began her career at Stace in 2018 as a degree apprentice, attaining her RICS chartership in 2023 and quickly establishing herself as a rising talent in the industry. She's currently pursuing a master's in Sustainability Leadership in the Built Environment at the University of Cambridge.

Her cost management experience spans residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, with notable clients including local authorities (London Boroughs of Bromley and Enfield, St Albans City and District Council and Portsmouth City Council), Rangeford Villages, and Places for People.

Jessa has led and supported initiatives through the sustainability working group and the ED&I committee, as well as developing training programmes for incoming apprentices. Her contributions led to finalist nominations in the “Rising Star” and “Apprentice of the Year” categories at the 2023 London Construction Awards and RICS Matrics Awards.

An avid volunteer, Jessa currently supports RICS Matrics, the REB NextGen Committee, Cancer Research UK, and Columbus School and College. Outside work, she can be found dressmaking, playing board games, composing and performing music.

Amir began his career as a Bench Joiner and then a Site Carpenter for a large construction firm. His passion for the built environment led him to transition into Building Surveying.

He joined Stace in 2021 at the Epping Office as a Senior Surveyor and is now a Senior Associate. In this role, Amir manages new instructions and supports the team in delivering a high-quality service. He has worked on a range of projects for varying clients including Columbia Threadneedle, London Borough of Havering, The National Trust, Co-Op, Harlow District Council, Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, CBRE Global Investors, London Borough of Redbridge, and Merlin Entertainments; to name a few.

In his spare time, he loves spending quality time with family and friends, travelling abroad to see new places, coffee, and a cold beer.

Amir isn’t a lover of clutter; he prides himself on being organised and orderly — which transfers to his role as a Building Surveyor, where being organised and managing many instructions, big and small, is key.

Kelly has worked in the industry for 20 years and joined Stace in 2017. Now, PA to Partners Glyn, Gareth and Stuart Syddell, Kelly also keeps the London Office running smoothly. 

She leads the admin team, supports onboarding for new team members, and manages client and staff events, including corporate hospitality alongside a wide range of other responsibilities that support the smooth running of the business.

Outside the office, Kelly is a keen travel, exercise, music, and gigs enthusiast and loves good food, wine and all things similar that East London has to offer.

At the weekend, you can find her on a run somewhere in London trying to convince herself that she enjoys running!

Having completed his BSc In Quantity Surveying at Reading University in 2021, Saul joined Stace shortly after.

Since then, he has worked across a range of sectors, with clients including Realstar, Legal & General, and Westminster Council. His project experience includes private residential apartments for Telford Homes and the commercial fit-out of railway arches for The Arch Company. Saul particularly enjoys working on office fit-outs and is currently preparing to sit his APC next year.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.

Partner

Martin joined Stace in 2004; with a background in fit-out and retail, he is now one of the Partners leading our retail project management team.

Passionate about the retail environment, Martin thrives in its fast-paced and ever-evolving landscape, embracing both the challenges and opportunities it presents. He currently leads the Tesco account for Stace and has also worked on projects for clients such as Iceland and the Post Office.

In his downtime, Martin has a keen interest in all things mechanical, particularly Land Rovers.
