Background

Housed in a stunning building at the heart of the Cambridge Science Park, The Bradfield Centre provides flexible workspace to start-up and scale-up businesses.

The project’s original aim was to provide flexible office space, with a contingency for incorporated Lab space and associated plant room, if required by a tenant. Upon commencing on site, the scope of works evolved to include a CAT B scope.

The Cat B works included the formation of office pods, meeting rooms, open-plan works areas, an auditorium, yoga room and a commercial kitchen. A single tenant occupied the entire building, providing flexible office space solutions to start-up companies and small businesses.

In addition to the original contract, a lakeside pavilion area with outdoor seating has been provided.
