In the heart of one of the UK’s greenest cities, Cambridge, a ground breaking ceremony was held recently at Brooklands. This site has multiple connections to central Cambridge will be transformed into a self-contained sustainable business campus of 67,000 sq ft of new workspace across two buildings (both two and four storeys), with 300 secure cycle spaces along with car parking in the basement.
The two buildings are designed for net zero carbon, fossil free operation, high levels of fresh air ventilation throughout, surrounding private gardens in the courtyard planted with native trees. This campus prioritises sustainability and wellness for new ways of working. The project is due to be completed by the end of 2024.
The client is Prudential Real Estate Ltd, the fund manager is M&G Real Estate and the development manager is Wrenbridge.
