Background

Awarded the best UK scheme for 500+ homes at the 2019 Planning Awards, Brightwell Lakes will become a sustainable, thriving new community surrounding one of the largest employment areas in Suffolk, Adastral Park.

Brightwell Lakes was granted outline planning permission in April 2018 with plans to deliver up to 2,000 new homes, including affordable, starter, family and elderly accommodation.

The development additionally includes a new 3 tier school, primary and secondary local centres, green infrastructure and sports facilities.

Our Role

Stace is providing Project Management, Cost Management and Health & Safety services to this significant development for our client, Carlyle Land Limited.

Our Impact

Our services have included an advisory role focusing on strategic development and funding support. Additionally, planning management, cost planning and programming.

Furthermore, we are working with the client providing day to day management for the project to provide serviced parcels of development land to housebuilders.

Stace has also led the Reserved Matters application and the negotiations surrounding the specific S106 contributions and discharge of Planning Conditions.
