The Wine Society has begun construction of their first cellar space since 2009

Construction of The Wine Society’s new ‘Warehouse 5’ has commenced, delivering a new chilled high bay storage facility in Hertfordshire.

Founded in 1874, The Wine Society is the world’s oldest member-owned community of wine lovers.  Looking to the future, one of the driving factors is that this new warehouse will ensure sustainability and low-energy consumption, with its new design using innovative insulation materials.  It will also include an advanced mechanical and electrical system to moderate both temperature and humidity control along with an advanced fire suppression system.

To help deliver this project with The Wine Society, Stace have been working together with Farrans Construction and have commenced construction on the £10m complex warehouse in Hertfordshire for The Wine Society

Stace is providing Project Management, Cost Management and Health & Safety services on the development of this warehouse for our client, The Wine Society together with Farrans Construction and CRH to deliver this project which is scheduled for completion in late Summer 2022.
