Sharing Culture Through Food

With Easter, Eid, Passover and Vaisakhi all taking place this month, our ED&I team organised a celebratory lunch on Monday 24 April. We asked our staff to bring in some food or snacks that had a special significance to them. Whether that be their favourite childhood treat, a dish specific to their culture or an item that plays an important part in their religious celebration.

The range was vast. Items on the table included a simnel cake, IrnBru, Ghanaian jollof rice, Bulgarian banista, Greek custard pie, Chinese potsticker dumplings, dal, samosas, a cheese board and more!

For those observing these recent festivities, we hope you had a wonderful celebration.
