Making A Difference For St Clare Hospice Through Gardening And Baking

Stace employees Jenny Braid, Joe Whybrow, Richard Fox and Tony Robinson, joined forces with the Qualis commercial team and spent the afternoon volunteering at the Hospice on 25 April.

Our team of four completed some much-needed garden work at the St Clare Hospice. They assisted with the garden work, cleaning up the park bays and weeding the verges.

Later, our company collectively put their baking aprons on and took part in a ‘Coffee, Cake & Care’ bake sale. We had a range of baked goods on offer including cookies, cake, brownies, cupcakes and scones.

Well done to all the bakers and a huge thank you to all who donated, as we collectively raised £280 for St Clare Hospice plus £50.50 Gift Aid! The donation will assist with the Hospice’s bid to make life better for people living with a life-limiting illness.

This adds to our range of charitable initiatives with St. Clare since becoming a corporate partner in May 2022.
