Leonard E Stace, founder of Stace LLP passed away

Core values: Putting people and clients first

It is with great sadness that the Partners of Stace announce that our founder Leonard E Stace passed away on Wednesday 25th August, aged 92.

Leonard (Len) started the Partnership, in 1959 in Epping, Essex. Through his desire, vision, and strong ethical values he developed a business that was based upon a foundation that created and shared opportunities to enable both its people and the business to grow.

Len retired in 1992 but remained in close contact with the Partnership up to the last. Len continued to be very interested in how the business was doing and how it was progressing. He remained, quite rightly so, very proud of the business that he started, and was delighted that its culture and values, had despite its growth, remained.

Len was particularly proud of how it had managed to grow and develop to the business it is today and the way it had survived the challenging times that the pandemic had presented.

“I was very fortunate to have spent quite some time with Len over the years. I recently met up with him and he remained extremely interested in the Partnership, the people in it and how it had coped with the pandemic. Len was delighted that the ethos and values he had engendered had remained even with the growth of the business. He had a particularly strong sense of pride in what he had created and how others had taken it on to build its success further. Len will be sadly missed by many.”
