Chartered Building Surveyor


A highly professional and self-driven Senior Surveyor is required in our Birmingham Office, a position which forms an integral part of our dedicated Building Surveying division. Based in Birmingham, the position will require regular travel to meet the demands of projects.

Projects will vary across sectors covered, this can include but will not be limited to:

Culture & Heritage, Education, Hotels & Leisure, Life Sciences & Health, Public Sector & Local Government, Mixed-use Regeneration, Offices & Commercial, Residential, Retail and Sport.

You will be capable of working with minimum supervision in all areas of Building Surveying, including but not limited to:

  • Defects analysis
  • Dilapidations
  • Party wall matters
  • Building surveys, planning preventative, maintenance schedules, commercial and due diligence reports

Alongside this, the position will involve contract and project work. These duties are indicative and not exhaustive, this role will evolve over time. 

Ideally you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • MRICS or equivalent qualification
  • A relevant degree
  • Capable of working to strict targets and timescales
  • Ability to communicate effectively at a high technical level with clients, members of the design team and other professionals in the industry.

You will also have proven Building Surveying experience and a pro-active, professional, self-motivated attitude to work.
