The student accommodation scheme in Coventry reached practical completion in May 2026, marking an important milestone in responding to growing demand from Coventry and Warwick universities.
The transformation of the site has been significant, with the demolition of two three-storey commercial buildings and a multi-storey car park. In their place, nine PBSA buildings have been delivered, providing 1,078 student bedrooms alongside 131 co-living units. The scheme also includes 7,040 sq ft of retail space across two commercial units.
Sustainability was a key focus throughout, with the student accommodation achieving a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and the commercial elements securing a ‘Very Good’ rating.
Stace worked closely with the client and wider project team to support compliance with the Building Safety Act 2023, carefully managing requirements during the transitional period.
