On Monday 21 September 2026, we attended the official opening of London South East Colleges’ Greenwich Campus.
Having reached practical completion in February 2026, the building was officially opened by the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE.
The £45m, 5,500 sq m campus is a state-of-the-art educational facility featuring classrooms, wellbeing spaces, a student welfare space, a Mac studio, a training kitchen and a learning resource centre.
Supported by the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Greater London Authority and Department for Education, the development enhances local skills provision across the borough, with the campus becoming one of the country’s only BREEAM Outstanding further education buildings.
Calum Carver, Divisional Director, who worked as part of the Cost Management team on the project, said: “It was wonderful to mark the official opening and see the college fully occupied and bringing its vision to life. Architecturally, the building stands out within the local community and serves as a great example of what can be achieved when clients, consultants and contractors work together to deliver transformational further education environments.”
