Julian Cox

Project Director

Julian has worked in the construction industry for 35 years, beginning his career as an Architectural Technician in 1986. After being made redundant in the early 1990s and facing challenges re-entering the architectural field, he chose to pivot, enrolling in a full-time Building Management degree in 1993. That decision marked the start of his career in project management, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Julian rejoined Stace in 2016, having previously worked with the business from 2005 to 2006. Since returning, he has delivered projects across the retail, residential, commercial, and site remediation sectors, serving both private and public sector clients. His portfolio includes work with notable names such as Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Merlin Entertainment, and BeFirst.

Outside of work, Julian is passionate about living life to the fullest. During rugby season, you’ll find him at Stonex Stadium, cheering on his team, Saracens. He’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys trail running, cycling, skiing, and walking his dog through the local fields. He also has a love for DIY and hands-on craftsmanship, recently beginning work on his first resin table, crafted from Epping Forest oak.

Kevin Pinto

IT Manager

Kevin, based in our Epping office, joined Stace in 2017.

Many years ago, he made a bold career change from engineering, recognising that the UK’s engineering base was being steadily eroded. He began as a toolmaker and eventually became director of a company specialising in anodising and powder coating.

Later, Kevin transitioned into IT, becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and earning a BSc in Information Technology. He began working fully in IT in 2000, just after the infamous Y2K “end-of-the-world” non-event.

Today, Kevin is responsible for all things IT across the company, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely.

Beyond his passion for technology, Kevin is a self-confessed petrolhead.

He has also twice walked from Mons to the Marne, retracing the steps of the British Expeditionary Force in WWI with a group of friends, completing the journey in full period uniform, boots included—all in support of charity.
