International Way Stratford, London

Transforming a transport hub into modern apartments

International Way is a residential‑led development scheme based in Stratford, developed by Telford Living and forward-funded by Legal & General.

The 1.1‑acre site, formerly used as a bus layover and taxi rank, has been redeveloped to include two striking towers of up to 26 storeys, providing 380 high‑quality apartments.

Alongside the residential units, the project includes 24,000 sq ft of commercial space. The towers are connected by a landscaped podium at third‑floor level, providing shared amenity space for residents.

Designed to create a vibrant mixed‑use community, the scheme incorporated commercial uses across the first three floors, activating the street frontage and contributing to a dynamic urban environment.

The project is located within the London Borough of Newham and was administered through the planning process by the London Legacy Development Corporation, ensuring alignment with the area’s long‑term regeneration vision.

Stace provided Contract Administration and Cost Consultant services on this project on behalf of Telford Living and Legal & General as forward funder.
