Forty Hall is a Grade I Listed Jacobean Manor House, located in the London Borough of Enfield.
Built by former Lord Mayor of London, Sir Nicholas Rainton, in 1632, Forty Hall is admired for its architecture and period rooms.
Stace was appointed by the London Borough of Enfield to deliver our services on the vital external repair and redecorations of the Manor House.
The works involved a number of specialist timber repairs to the existing timber windows. A detailed repair schedule was prepared, in collaboration with the principal contractor. Stace also liaised with the local authority planning office and head of culture to agree paint finishes, alongside the specialist timber repair system, prior to commencing works. The building was occupied throughout so clear communication with multiple stakeholders was imperative to ensure minimum disruption.
