With distinctive architecture, designed to reference the area’s industrial past and nearby historic railway buildings, Avon Street’s new Purpose-Build Student Accommodation (PBSA) development will deliver high-quality accommodation in Bristol University’s Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.
Delivering 447 beds across three blocks, on the site of the former Chanson Foods facility, this is a flagship project for the University of Bristol. The buildings, which will vary from eight to 12 storeys in height, will include an open courtyard and a reception area to increase security for residents and visitors.
The development aims to address the need for student housing, whilst easing pressures on residential areas. Additionally, Stace supported with navigating the complexities of town planning conditions, including contamination, UXO, and flood relief measures.
Stace was appointed on this scheme by institutional investors to provide Funder’s Representative Services including Technical Due Diligence and Development Monitoring.
