After graduating with a BSc in Building Surveying, James transitioned into a career in quantity surveying, inspired by a summer placement at a fit-out company in London.

He joined Stace in 2006 and has since worked on a wide range of exciting projects, with notable clients including the F.A., Silverstone Circuits, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Chelsea FC, Crystal Palace FC, and Cambridge United FC.

James’s expertise spans sports & leisure, commercial, and hotel projects. He is also an active member of the Stace sports sector working group.

In his spare time, James enjoys travelling and fishing.

With an industry career spanning 46 years, (and 38 at Stace), today, Alec works in the Project Management department offering expertise as Employer’s Agent, and in project planning and automated storage systems.

Formerly part of the Construction Management team, Alec has worked across sectors including specialist cold storage, automated storage, industrial production units, sports, rail, residential, student accommodation, and retail.

His range of sectors has led him to work with many clients, including Bouygues Development on new Council offices, large residential, and student accommodation schemes. 

He’s supported Brake Brothers as construction manager on their UK-wide cold store network, worked on Virgin Rail’s west coast Pendolino infrastructure project, and with Aquila Developments on retail parks in Essex and Suffolk.

Passionate about training and mentoring both inside and outside work, he spends his free time training teenagers in outdoor skills, including hill walking, navigation, and archery.

Joe began his career as a contractor where he gained on-site experience across a range of projects. This practical grounding gave him a strong understanding of construction delivery and site operations, invaluable in his work today.

Having achieved his RICS chartership, he moved into consultancy, joining Stace in 2022.

He’s played a key role in developing the QS offering in Birmingham, delivering projects across residential, commercial (new build at Cat A/B fit outs), hospitality, and programme management for major commercial clients. 

Joe has a passion for seeing a project from inception to completion. He particularly enjoys the tangible results at the end of a build, getting a real satisfaction from delivering a project that meets client expectations and is well-received by the end users.

At the weekend, you can find him on the padel court or playing a round of golf.

Kelly has worked in the industry for 20 years and joined Stace in 2017. Now, PA to Partners Glyn, Gareth and Stuart Syddell, Kelly also keeps the London Office running smoothly. 

She leads the admin team, supports onboarding for new team members, and manages client and staff events, including corporate hospitality alongside a wide range of other responsibilities that support the smooth running of the business.

Outside the office, Kelly is a keen travel, exercise, music, and gigs enthusiast and loves good food, wine and all things similar that East London has to offer.

At the weekend, you can find her on a run somewhere in London trying to convince herself that she enjoys running!

Billy began his professional career in education before transitioning into the construction and health & safety industry, where he has built a strong foundation in CDM consultancy and Principal Designer duties. After achieving the NEBOSH General Certificate, he developed experience across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, and commercial and residential projects.

He joined Stace in 2025 as a CDM Consultant and Principal Designer. Throughout his career, Billy has supported a wide range of public and private sector clients, including NHS Trusts, North Kent College, Knight Dragon Developments and various educational establishments.

Billy enjoys collaborating with project teams to identify design risks early and promote practical, proportionate safety measures that enhance both buildability and user safety. He is passionate about fostering a strong health and safety culture within design and construction teams.

Outside of work, Billy enjoys travel and seeking out new experiences, whether that’s exploring new places, relaxing on holiday, or spending time with family and friends. He is a keen sports fan who previously played rugby and has more recently developed a love for golf. Naturally competitive, Billy enjoys the social side of sport, whether that’s a round of golf or a board game night with friends.

Joe joined Stace as an apprentice in 2017, completing his degree in 2021 and obtaining MRICS status in 2025.

He enjoys working across various sectors, though a vast amount of his projects are in Culture and Heritage, where his clients include The British Museum, The National Gallery, The Natural History Museum, and Shaftesbury Capital.

Joe is always conscious to help younger members of the team where possible and, having completed his apprenticeship and obtained his chartership, he's happy to guide those on the same path.

In his free time he's a keen sports fan, following football, golf, and the NFL. He's also a keen cook and never shies away from grabbing the BBQ tongs.

Ann graduated from university in 2020 with a First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance and has since gained five years of experience in the finance industry.

She joined Stace in 2023 and has enjoyed working across the accounts receivable side of the business, alongside credit control—ensuring the recovery of funds through timely payments and effective debt collection.

Her daily role includes preparing and issuing invoices to clients, tracking incoming payments, and updating accounting records with new transactions, balances, and client information.

Outside the world of finance, Ann’s interests include music, singing, sports, travel, and connecting with family and friends.

Jaci joined Stace in 2019 following 14-years at Tesco, where she held various roles including Department Manager and Tesco Mobile Manager in store, later moving into Tesco Property as an Implementation Manager and Trial/BI Manager, and time at Tesco Bank.
 
Since joining Stace, she has worked with several clients including continuing her relationship with Tesco, Yo! Sushi, and Gould Barbers.
 
Jaci enjoys problem solving and sharing knowledge, and the variety that working with multiple clients and meeting people from different teams and suppliers brings; gaining an understanding the whole ecosystem and what each individual delivers.
 
In her spare time she loves to bake and has recently rediscovered an enjoyment of air shows - as a 'forces brat' she's now reengaging with this element of her childhood.

Launching his Stace career in 2013, Brian gained hands-on experience and developed a strong foundation in the field on the Graduate Development Programme. 

Now Project Director, Brian has worked across several sectors for clients such as Jaguar Land Rover, British Land, BT, and McLaren Property. 

Priding himself on his ability to lead and deliver successful projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency, Brian holds a degree in Real Estate Management and a master's in Construction Project Management, which have equipped him with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.

Enjoying the collaborative nature of the work, Brian’s passion for project management and dedication to delivering exceptional results continue to drive him forward. 

When he’s not working, he enjoys taking to the golf course, watching Ireland play rugby, and spending time with family and friends over a good meal.

Project Director

Andrew has worked in the property and construction industry for over 20 years, beginning his journey as a trainee building surveyor while studying part-time at university. Before joining Stace, he gained valuable experience at several property consultancies.

He joined the Stace Leeds office in January 2011, where he transitioned from building surveying into project management. Later that year, he moved to the London office, continuing to build his expertise within the industry.

Andrew has delivered projects for high-profile clients including Muse, Quintain, Telford Living, Landsec, and Virgin Active. He’s passionate about finding more efficient ways of working, enhancing the quality of service the business offers, and mentoring younger members of the project management team.

When he’s not driving projects forward, Andrew is a proud Huddersfield Town supporter and season ticket holder.

Matthew joined the Stace apprenticeship scheme in 2019. Going on to achieve a First Class Honours Chartered Surveyor degree at London South Bank University, in 2024.

Recently he has led property-developer Marldon’s account, dealing with office refurbishment’s, apartments, and hotels. Whilst also working on a range of retail, leisure, office, hotel, government, and public sector projects for clients such as The National Trust, Tesco, London Borough of Enfield, and St Albans City & District Council.

He enjoys seeing a project through from start to finish, especially when it involves overcoming complex challenges, making the outcome even more rewarding.

He loves playing rugby and watching sport and is a supporter of Saracens Rugby Club and Arsenal Football Club.

Charlie joined Stace in 2025 as a Trainee Project Manager, on our apprenticeship scheme, shortly after completing his A-Levels.

He had previously undertaken work experience at Stace over the two years prior, which helped solidify his interest in the industry. Inspired by his father, who is also a Project Manager, Charlie spent time visiting sites from a young age, sparking a passion for the built environment.

In his role, Charlie supports the Project Management team in delivering and managing projects to successful outcomes. He works closely with developers, contractors, consultants, and clients to build strong working relationships, while also inspecting and recording the quality and progress of works on site.

He is currently involved in a sustainable office refurbishment project for British Land.

Outside of work, Charlie is a dedicated Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

Richard joined Stace in 2015, having graduated from University of East Anglia in 2013 and spent some time travelling before settling in London. With a keen interest in writing and marketing, the prospect of supporting Partners in bidding for new business across multiple sectors, services, and regions had great appeal.
 
As the company has grown, so has the Bid team, now with a division tasked with demonstrating Stace's capabilities to clients, both old and new.
 
Richard also heads up the Responsible Business Committee, driving Stace's approach to social value, a subject Richard is passionate about, taking great pride in seeing the projects we deliver and the communities we help. 'The construction industry has a huge role to play in helping the planet, future generations, and vulnerable people.
 
Outside of work Richard likes to keep active, whether that's running, cycling, swimming, or playing sport.

Georgia has nearly two years’ construction industry experience, starting as a graduate at a major contractor in Central London, where she worked with clients including Berkeley and Forseven. 

She holds an MA (Hons) in Finance and Business from the University of Edinburgh and is currently studying for an MSc in Quantity Surveying, with the aim of completing her APC thereafter.

A naturally curious individual, Georgia loves to ask questions and thrives on exploring the intricate details of different projects and industries.

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys drawing, hiking, and actively volunteering. Over the years, she has participated in initiatives such as the ICL Maker Challenge, Dragon Boat Racing in Canary Wharf, and the YMCA Girls Mentor programme, among many others.

Keith began his Quantity Surveying career in 2006 at a small private practice, laying the foundation for a deep understanding of cost consultancy.
 
Joining Stace in 2011, he has since had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients from national galleries and museums to developer-led schemes, global corporates, and prime residential projects.
 
Keith has built a reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes on complex and high-profile developments. By combining commercial insight with a collaborative mindset, he ensures every project is delivered with precision, integrity, and a clear focus on value.
 
Away from work, Keith attempts to tend to his allotment – a pursuit he describes as a very very slow burn, still waiting to reap the benefits. His motto, “One potato at a time,” keeps him grounded, whether navigating a complex project or coaxing life from the soil.

Pejman Saghatchi

With an MSc in Construction Project Management from UCL, and a BSc in Architecture from Cardiff University, Pejman’s strong academic foundation in design and execution was compounded in his first position as Junior Project Manager and Site Manager for a principal contractor. 

Having gained experience in project delivery and client relations, he joined Stace in 2024 and to date has worked with clients such as Qualis, London Borough of Waltham Forest, and Haringey Council, as well as on the Meridian Water project. 

In his day-to-day role he liaises with stakeholders, provides regular reports, acts as point of contact for the project team, and undertakes contract administration tasks. 

Having lived in eight different countries, Pejman brings a unique global perspective, helping him adapt to dynamic environments and collaborate with diverse teams. Pejman is motivated by a desire to add value to his team.
