Kevin, based in our Epping office, joined Stace in 2017.
Many years ago, he made a bold career change from engineering, recognising that the UK’s engineering base was being steadily eroded. He began as a toolmaker and eventually became director of a company specialising in anodising and powder coating.
Later, Kevin transitioned into IT, becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and earning a BSc in Information Technology. He began working fully in IT in 2000, just after the infamous Y2K “end-of-the-world” non-event.
Today, Kevin is responsible for all things IT across the company, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely.
Beyond his passion for technology, Kevin is a self-confessed petrolhead.
He has also twice walked from Mons to the Marne, retracing the steps of the British Expeditionary Force in WWI with a group of friends, completing the journey in full period uniform, boots included—all in support of charity.
Launching his career with Currie & Brown, Joshua gained experience in cost verification exercises for HS2 enabling works, cost planning, and NEC contract administration.
Since joining Stace, he’s managed numerous residential and commercial office refurbishments, for clients including British Land, the Cadogan Estate, and The Portman Estate, and gets a reward from feeling he’s added value for clients, going the extra mile when he can.
Now working towards his RICS chartership, Joshua has several other qualifications already under his belt, having completed his Surveying Technician Diploma, passed the AssocRICS assessment as part of his Surveying Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship, and graduated with First Class Honours in Quantity Surveying from UCEM.
In his spare time, Joshua enjoys travelling – visiting new places and experiencing different cultures – whenever he can.
