The redevelopment of London South East Colleges Greenwich Campus has reached practical completion.
The scheme involved the demolishing of the existing buildings and the construction of a state-of-the-art educational facility constructed featuring classrooms, wellbeing spaces, a student welfare space, a Mac studio, training kitchen, and learning resource centre.
Supported by the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the Greater London Authority and the Department for Education (DfE), the development is designed to enhance skills provision in Greenwich by creating an innovative environment for teaching and learning.
The campus was open and operational throughout the construction phase on site, with an adjacent residential scheme adding to the complexities, ensuring continuity for students, staff, and the wider community. Delivering the works in a live, functional setting increased the complexity of our role, requiring careful coordination with the project team, detailed planning to minimise disruption, and a flexible, responsive approach to project delivery.
The project reached practical completion in February 2026, with aspirations to be one of the first BREEAM Outstanding new build further education colleges in England.
Having been appointed onto the scheme in 2022, Stace provided Cost Management and Employer’s Agent services.
