• Peter Chana is joining Stace in the role of Group Director on 4 March 2019, after 23 years at Lendlease, where he was Head of Heritage, Arts & Education in their consulting business
• Peter is the third Stace recruit from Lendlease since January 2019, as he joins John Carminati and Stuart Henniker-Smith who have both joined in their roles as Project Directors
Stace has appointed Peter Chana as its Group Director, commencing on 4 March 2019.
Peter joins from Lendlease, having been with the business for over 23 years, most recently as their Consulting Head of Heritage, Arts and Education and a member of their Executive Management Team.
Peter’s experience includes the capital works programmes for clients such as The Royal Collection Trust, Victoria & Albert Museum, Science and British Museum’s and the Houses of Parliament Strategic Estates framework – including the refurbishment of the Elizabeth Tower and Westminster Hall. Peter has been given a national role to grow the Culture & Heritage sector at Stace.
Peter is the latest senior appointment from Lendlease since January, which has seen John Carminati and Stuart Henniker-Smith both join Stace as Project Directors.
These appointments are part of Stace’s national growth strategy, which saw the opening of a Cambridge office in 2016 and more recently relocate our Midlands office to Birmingham in January.
Partner Glyn Crawley comments: “Peter joining Stace along with two of his colleagues from Lendlease is a sign of our intent at Stace. As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, our original successes were built in the Culture & Heritage sector, delivering projects on various prestigious buildings such as the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Spencer House and the Royal Chelsea Hospital. I look forward to Peter, John and Stuart, playing their part in building our future here at Stace.”
Stace has a strong Culture & Heritage capability, which includes various schemes with The British Museum such as the full refurbishment of the recently reopened Japanese Galleries.
