Background

Delivery of 80 residential units for Meyer Homes.

Gabriel Square is a residential development by Meyer Homes, which will deliver 80 new homes in a mixture of one and two bed apartments and three-four bed townhouses, all circulating an integrated central square. Spanning three acres, the development is situated within walking a short walking distance from St Albans City train station, offering a London commute of under 30 minutes.

A contemporary development, the new homes will feature smart home control and under floor heating, and will also offer secure underground private parking and bicycle storage facilities for the residents.  Design-led in every way, the scheme features external design by Benson + Forsyth and interior design by Conran + Partners.

Our Role

Stace is appointed in a Project Management, Cost Management and Health & Safety capacity.

Our Impact

The Stace Project Management team and acting Employer’s Agent are currently undertaking weekly reviews of work, managing variations and contractual matters, to ensure works remain to programme.

Our Cost Management team are similarly involved, undertaking monthly valuations of work done, producing cost reports for our client, and managing the agreement and expectations of change related costs. Also acting as Principle Designer and CDM Client Advisor, Stace are undertaking monthly site inspections and are ensuring the Client and contractor are fulfilling their Health & Safety responsibilities.
