Ebury Bridge is a major mixed use development in Victoria, delivering 47 new private residences and a new University Technical College. The works are a part of a major regeneration project between Westminster City Council and Bouygues Development to clear run-down brownfield sites, re-mediate contamination and upgrade the local educational facilities and housing stock for the area.
Last week, Stace joined teams from University of Westminster, Bouygues UK and Mott MacDonald at the UTC topping out ceremony.
The UTC is a new University Technical College, linked to the University of Westminster. The College will provide traditional and vocational courses for students aged 14-19, who are looking for a career within the construction industry. Companies such as Land Securities and Network Rail have already signed up to partner the scheme, which aims to provide real world experience alongside traditional teaching.
Stace are providing Employer’s Agent and Cost Advice services on this major mixed-use development, with a focus on sustainability. The project is due for completion in February 2018.

Planning consent has been granted for Spen Hill’s Welwyn Garden City, redevelopment of the Old Shredded Wheat Factory.
The scheme will provide 850 new homes, linked with a formal garden spaces, new public square, landscaped gardens and communal space. The original Grade II listed Shredded Wheat Factory Buildings will be converted into office and retail space. …

Works are going well for the refurbishment and remodelling of London Borough of Enfield’s Civic Centre.
The project is being completed in phases, with the first phase final works commencing this month and expected to finish in the summer.

Construction of the new 270 bedroom student accommodation scheme is well underway with the erection of two of the four timber frame blocks almost complete.
Works to the remaining two blocks has commenced, with basement construction being completed on the front block.
