British Museum Appointment

Stace are delighted to have recently been appointed to the museum’s Framework for the Provision of Cost Management Consultancy Services. We are currently instructed on various different schemes:

  • Visitor’s flat  – Works to carry out refurbishment and make it structurally sound and statutorily compliant.
  • Fabric Condition Survey – Preparation of cost estimates for the maintenance of the external building fabric of the whole of the main buildings based on detailed condition surveys undertaken.
  • Orsman Road – Upgrade of fire alarm and life safety installations at off-site storage facility.
  • Asia Gallery/ Room 33 – Refurbishment of existing gallery including upgrade of display cabinets and modernisation of services installations.

These projects are all in the early stages but we are looking forward to working with the museum team to support the maintenance and development of these nationally important facilities.


Works Progressing Well for The Maple Building

Works are progressing well for The Maple Building, the redevelopment of 54,000 ft2 existing commercial building into premium residential units.
