Marketing Manager – Maternity Cover Contract

London

We are seeking a passionate and pro-active Marketing Manager with experience working in the professional services to join our team on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

This opportunity suits a pro-active marketer  with a degree in marketing or CIM diploma, who can take responsibility for delivering the day-to-day marketing activity for our business.  It is desirable that you have previous experience working in professional services or the construction and property sector. Experience working on brand strategy and implementing changes to a company’s brand will also be advantageous. The role presents an excellent opportunity to get involved at all levels and positively influence the company.

The role will be largely autonomous but will involve close contact with the Partners, and all areas of the business. The Marketing & Bids division is a central part of our business and twice a quarter the Marketing and Bid team present at a meeting with all Partners.

You will be capable of working in all areas of Marketing, including but not limited to:

    • Delivering the marketing strategy, driving continuous improvement and change to support the business objectives.
    • Be the marketing expert at Stace supporting on different initiatives across the business.
    • With the Bid Director, drive forward our 13 sectors, whilst being part of the team to execute the plan for our priority sectors.
    • Work with the business leaders across our regional offices to deliver regional brand awareness.
    • Monitor the annual zero-based marketing budget and spend throughout the financial year, working closely with our Finance Partner and accounts/finance team.
    • Supported by our Administration Team and Marketing Executive, overseeing costs, bookings and logistics of our events ensuring all activity has been tracked and ROI analysed. This includes overseas conferences – e.g. MIPIM.
    • To be the Brand Guardian for all internal and external documents and the first point of contact for all day-to-day internal and external marketing queries.
    • To continue to build our media presence, managing and building relationships with key external stakeholders including industry journalists and issuing press releases.
    • Oversee the Marketing Executive’s day-to-day management of our marketing channels. Our online channels include our website CMS, our CRM, social media channels and our Intranet.
    • Oversee the Marketing Executive’s production of marketing materials, including the flyers, brochures, datasheets, event invitations, branded miscellaneous and presentation materials.
    • Liaise with our external marketing stakeholders, including a marketing agency who support us with larger projects, and our supplier list which includes – graphic designers, copy writers and proofreaders who support us on an ad-hoc basis.
    • Supported by the Marketing Executive, manage our CRM, and create our quarterly company update which is delivered to our large and growing client and key contact database. Experience in CRM and e-marketing software is required.
    • Oversee the Marketing Executive manage the company’s photography library, including managing and sourcing permissions and image licenses.
    • Working alongside the Bid Director in the Marketing & Bids Division, provide ad hoc support in the generation track record documents.
    • Confidently lead meetings, including meetings with Partners, external meetings, and administration meetings.
    • The coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns, raising the visibility and reputation of Stace within targeted markets and sectors.
    • To work alongside the HR team in delivering an annual multi-channel graduate development campaign, careers outreach programme, and various internal marketing activities.

Ideally you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Appropriate educational background demonstrating good levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Qualification in marketing (degree or CIM equivalent) preferable. Qualifications in journalism, research, economics and other related disciplines would also be considered.
  • You will have experience in a B2B marketing department (ideally in the property or construction sector) assisting on the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • You will require strong attention to detail and editorial skills.
  • The role will take you across all areas of our business, so you must be confident in your ability to build and manage relationships across all levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience using marketing software including – CMS and a CRM system. The ideal candidate will also have a level of knowledge using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Experience in assisting in the delivery of engaging content across multiple channels – e.g. social media, website and press releases and thought leadership content.
  • A track record of monitoring and measuring the ROI on marketing, so that future marketing tactics are strategically undertaken.
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Capable of working to strict targets and timescal
