Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor seeking an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of leading construction projects? We are actively looking for an individual to join our team of over 200 professionals, delivering expertise across a wide range of sectors

You will be capable of working in all areas of Cost Management, including but not limited to:

• Undertaking benchmarking and feasibility estimates
• Preparing detailed budget estimates and cost plans
• Preparing measured quantities for tender documents
• Preparing tender documents including drafting preliminaries and general conditions
• Conducting tender evaluations and compiling tender reports
• Preparing interim valuation recommendations
• Preparing cost reports and final accounts including the evaluation of Contractor’s claims
• Delivering effective cost management services generally pre and post contract
• Reporting direct to clients, including preparing clear and concise advice in emails and other reports
• Attending meetings with clients, contractors and fellow consultants

Requirements:

• Proven track record of Cost Management experience
• Good grasp of construction technology
• MRICS chartered status
• High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet specific deadlines with a flexible attitude to work
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Committed to Continuing Professional Development and assisting others to progress their professional chartership

This role is based in either our Cambridge or Epping office but will require regular travel to meet the demands of the projects, therefore flexibility is required.
