Planning Permission Granted for Hale Wharf

24 October 2017

Hale Wharf, the residential-led regeneration scheme in Tottenham Hale, has been granted planning permission.

The scheme will deliver up to 505 new homes (of which 35% of the units will be affordable), flexible retail/business units, landscaping and public realm works. Connectivity to the site will be improved through modification works to the existing highways and new pedestrian/cycle bridges across the River Lea and the adjacent flood relief channel leading to ‘The Paddock’, a community Nature Park.

An ecologically sensitive site, the scheme has been guided through the planning process by Muse Developments with their joint venture partner the Canal & River Trust.

Demolition and enabling works are progressing.  Phase 1 will commence in earnest later in 2018 and will include two buildings at 16 and 21 storeys to accommodate 249 residential units along with associated retail and business space.

Stace are appointed as Project Managers and Employer’s Agent.
