SJP II Wins BCO Award for Corporate Workplace

12 May 2017

Congratulations to the project team for St James’s Place Wealth Management Headquarters, Cirencester. Developed by Citygrove Securities, the project won the South of England and South Wales regional BCO Award for Corporate Workplace.

This project comprises the construction of a new circa 50,000ft² office development to CAT A, which incorporates two levels of under croft parking.

The office is located within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and required a careful selection of high quality natural materials in order to remain in keeping with the surroundings. The judges praised the development team at Citygrove for “creating a modern, contemporary building in SJP II that fits comfortably into the traditional streetscape of this Cotswold town.”

Designed by Scott Brownrigg Architects, the BCO judges praised the way the project “maximised development on this constrained site by incorporating the plant within the main building volume, maintaining key views across town and exploiting the level change across the site to incorporate two levels of car parking with a wing of the building.”

Stace were appointed in a Project Management, Cost Management and CDM Co-ordinator capacity for the new St. James’s Place Wealth Management head office.
