Dartford Council approves residential led development in Dartford Town Centre

25 March 2017

Stace are very pleased to announce our involvement in a 548 unit residential led-mixed use scheme for Meyer Homes, located in Dartford town centre;

“The development proposes a southern extension to the town centre, strengthening connections to the wider environs and flexibility for future new connections to both the north and west of the town centre.” Meyer Homes

In addition to the 548 residential units, the scheme will include ground floor retail units, parking, offices, café/ micro-brewery and detailed landscaping, designed to create a series of courtyards.

The scheme has been divided into three phases with the first phase at the north of the site, closest to the high street and town centre. The first phase involves demolition of existing buildings, refurbishment of No. 26 Lowfield Street for commercial use and the construction of 188 dwellings, retail units and the café/micro-brewery, creating the hub of the pedestrianised Market Square to the north.

The scheme gained planning consent in around 13 months from the inception of Stace PM involvement in a Project Management capacity.
