TfL Property Partnership Framework and Stace

07 December 2016

Stace are working with Transport for London on the re-development of two existing sites as Project Managers and Cost Consultants, in a bid to create more homes and communities for Londoners. These schemes form part of the TfL Property Partnership Framework programme.

The former car park on the Landmark Court site, Southwark Street, SE1 has been owned by TfL since the 1990s and is the latest to be redeveloped by TfL. The site has just been launched to the Framework partners with bids expected back in Q1 2017, and will potentially deliver in excess of 100 new homes and 70,000 ft² of office accommodation. Stace are acting as Project Managers.

The scheme is located near to the south bank of the River Thames, close to a number of high profile occupiers and developments including the Shard and The Place, part of London Bridge Quarter.

The main structures on the site include:

  • 15 Southwark Street, a seven-storey derelict building façade situated in the north-eastern corner of the site
  • 25-33 Southwark Street, a low rise building owned by Network Rail
  • The Crossbones graveyard being an unconsecrated memorial garden with a fascinating history and anticipated to provide open space accessible to the public in the new scheme

Stace, acting as Cost Consultants, are also assisting Transport for London on the Bermondsey station project, again in the London Borough of Southwark. The over station development will see approximately 40 new affordable homes.
