Stace welcomes our latest wave of graduates, who met for the first session of the 2017 Stace Graduate Development Scheme last month.
Our first year graduates, which include individuals from across our 5 regional offices, are all looking to develop careers in their respective disciplines; Project Management, Cost Management and Building Surveying. Coming from various universities they have all joined Stace this year.
Held by our HR team Karen and Connie, the session was a gentle introduction to the scheme, the company and the industry.
Karen explains, “Whilst the day was structured around understanding the scheme itself, our focus was all about getting to know one another so that our graduates feel supported not only for the duration of their route to Chartership, but throughout their careers at Stace.
With our offices scattered throughout the UK, it’s a great opportunity for those on the scheme to not only meet our Partners but to put a face to some of the names within their Alumni network, so they can start building the relationships that will help support them through their APC.
Our scheme is designed to provide our graduates with a solid foundation to develop their careers, by offering a wide range of experience, support and guidance to develop essential business skills and industry knowledge. We actively encourage our staff to become chartered and this scheme complements the different routes by providing a platform to learn from others in the company.
Our session next week is to provide an overview of our business and next month the new graduates will join those on the second year of this 2 year scheme.”
The afternoon session was rounded off by pizza and drinks with 2 Executive Board members, 6 partners and 4 previous graduates (now at Senior & Associate level) dropping by.
Our Graduate Scheme starts in September. Applications are open for our 2017 intake, with our first wave of interviews taking place between January – April 2017.
