Tottenham Conference 2015

19 July 2015

On Saturday 17th July, Stace joined hundreds of residents, businesses and construction professionals at Haringey Council’s Tottenham Conference.

Stace Partner Stuart Riley and Senior Quantity Surveyor Tony Robinson were among the variety of exhibitors showcasing how residents and local businesses can get involved in ambitious plans for the area.

Described as “a jam-packed celebration of all things Tottenham” the conference provided residents with detailed updates on the council’s 20-year regeneration plan, which was launched last year. Talks, panel discussions, exhibitor stalls and walking tours were all provided and free to attend, and focused on the positive effect the regeneration work was bringing to the area, with the primary focus resting on environmental, residential and educational improvements. New career and training opportunities within the area were also celebrated.

Landmark new education and training facilities opened within the last year include the £18million Broadwater Farm Inclusive Learning Campus (Quantity Surveying works provided by Stace) Tottenham University Technical College and John McAslan + Partners N17 Design Studio. And the £8million refurbishment of Tottenham Green, stunning transformation of Tottenham Green and new tropical pocket park on West Green Road has seen Tottenham’s public spaces looking better than ever.
