Regent House Receives Planning

Westminster City Council Planning Committee have resolved to grant planning permission on The Portman Estate’s planning application for the redevelopment of Regent House, George Street, W1.  The mixed-use development has been designed by architects Stiff + Trevillion, with circa 1200m² GEA comprising 4 retail units, 6 levels of office, 24 residential units and 2 levels of basement.

Whilst the Estate’s motive is to procure an efficient scheme, there are aspirations for this building to create a more amenable entrance in to the Portman Estate from the west. The project is also part of a wider plan to enhance Edgware Road. Stace have been involved as Project Manager since inception, with Gardiner & Theobald, AKTII and Norman Disney & Young providing quantity surveying, structural and M&E services for the project.
