Marble Arch House Completes!

15 January 2014

Marble Arch House has recently been granted Practical Completion by Stace LLP, who were appointed by British Land as Project Managers and Employer Representative.

Stace have been involved in the development since 2008, when initially appointed by The Portman Estate to project manage from initial brief to detailed Planning Consent.  Having purchased the long lease interest from The Portman Estate in 2010, British Land retained Stace as Project Manager and Employers Representative to deliver the development.

The scheme was designed by Bennett’s Associates and has met the demanding aspirations of both British Land and the Portman Estate as being a quality benchmark building in terms of its design, quality of construction and achieving BREEAM Excellent.

The development comprises 60,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation together with 15,000 sq ft of retail space. Adjacent to the new office building there are ten luxury residential apartments with a 5,000 sq ft restaurant unit at ground level built behind the retained period Victorian facade of 62-64 Seymour Street.

During the development, Stace were shortlisted 3 years in a row by British Land for their ‘Supplier of the Year Award for Offices and Residential’ and eventually won it in 2013, recognising the exceptional service provided on Marble Arch House.
