Seven Acres win Evening Standards Eco-living Award

Seven Acres, Cambridge

 Seven Acres is a residential scheme in Cambridge and is Skanska Residential UK’s first ever UK Housing Development.

The scheme is made up of 128 houses and Apartments, of which 51 are Affordable, both Shared Ownership and Rent. The development forms part of the Cambridge Challenge, which is a scheme to develop 3,500 new homes in Cambridge.

Stace were appointed as Project Manager, Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor by BPHA the Registered Provided working with Skanska

 The units are a contemporary design by Formation Architects and call on Scandinavian influences to tie in with Skanska’s background.

 The scheme is approximately £6 Million and is split into 2 phases. The houses of Phase 1 are currently handing over, with more to follow in June. Phase 2 is commencing shortly and will run to the middle of 2014.

 The Development has won a number of awards for its design and also its Sustainability features, these include:
