Award Winning Spen Hill Development Obtains Planning Permission

Spen Hill Developments have recently received planning consent from the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea for the following proposals:

  • Store extensionof 2333ft2 GEA to the existing foodstore
  • 278 new residential apartments built off the existing podium along with residents private amenities including cinema and gym facilities
  • A multi-purpose community leisure facility and café
  • Additional car parking and miscellaneous ancillary infrastructure improvements

This competition winning scheme was designed by Benson & Forsyth architects in conjunction with Michael Aukett Architects and its value is in excess of £120 million.

The combination of uses is intended to create a highly sustainable, integrated residential community, responsive to both its physical and social context in terms of the form of the developments and amenities provided.
