Respecting People
Our people are the life blood of our consultancy. We believe that respect for all employees is moral, ethical and essential. Today’s Junior may well be tomorrow’s Partner. This respect is fundamental and recognises that we are all equal as individuals with the same basic needs and entitlements. Stace LLP encourage our people to balance work with family and social life and provides a supportive framework for both professional and personal development giving equality of opportunity and diversity throughout the workforce.
Our Employee Handbook covers numerous issues which reflect the company’s responsibility to our people including, parental leave, compassionate leave, childcare vouchers, study support, training, continuing professional development, appraisals, sports and social activities.
Promoting Sustainability
It is the stated aim of Stace LLP to minimise the environmental impact of our business activities and to influence those we work with both colleagues and clients to bring about a positive environmental benefit.
We have published a comprehensive Environmental and Sustainability Policy which reflects our responsibility on a local and global level.
To assist in achieving these objectives we ensure there is a two way engagement with our staff and to that end, we have appointed a senior associate as our sustainability champion supported by our Associate Executive Board with instruction to continually seek ways of lessening our green footprint which more often than not, also improves our business efficiency.
Giving back to our Communities
Over many years, Stace LLP have delivered a wide ranging programme of professional, charitable and community support, which continues today by encouraging our people to take part in corporate initiatives and to support their own causes locally, nationally and internationally. In addition, we provide university award sponsorship and work experience opportunities for students at school and university.
We endorse Article 25.1 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights in which reference is made to the built environment and everyone’s right to adequate housing etc for the health and well being of the individual and his or her family. Stace LLP is registered with the RICS to provide pro-bono services for their charity Property Help.
Each office has a Communities Champion who together form a committee to select aspects of the community or charity to be the focus for the year and to co-ordinate how the financial and time support provided by Stace LLP should be directed. Our aim is to provide a mix of local help and support including direct hands-on involvement of our people and national or global charity support.
