Training & Development
Stace is committed to growing and developing as a sustainable, profitable and distinctive property and construction firm. To do this we believe that we have a responsibility to our staff to train and develop them to forward their own careers as far as they want to grow. As well as people working towards their degree and those working towards RICS, APM, CIOB and CDM qualification, we have staff studying for diplomas, PhDs, Masters degrees and other professional qualifications. We are committed to an appraisal and mentoring system and the partners ensure that each individual gets the necessary support and attention they need to progress.
Stace offer work experience and have relationships with a number of local schools. We encourage ‘A’ level students to study on a day release basis working towards a degree in Surveying and have an excellent success rate in our graduates sitting the assessment of professional competence in all divisions.
In addition to formal RICS/APM/CIOB/CDM qualifications, we are always looking for people who can demonstrate certain attributes, especially:
- Track record in our sector
- Team players that take responsibility
- Technically excellent in their chosen discipline
- Responsive and respectful
- Strong all rounders with skills across all service disciplines in the property and construction industry
We also encourage staff to undertake volunteer work during working hours, not just to put something back into our communities, but to gain wider experience and skills outside the office environment and foster their creativity.
