Professional motivation
I always wanted to be in an industry that created something that was real and tangible. The Property Industry did this for me. I am driven by making a difference in anything I do and always strive to do better. I am very self motivated and I enjoy the challenge of anything complex. I am not a good loser! I was fortunate to have been able to start with one of my partners within our Project Management Division in 1984 when Project Management was in its infancy as a recognised separate profession. I remain driven and excited by our profession and what it is able to contribute towards the Property Industry and the wider community.
Main Areas of expertise
Acquisition Due Diligence, Client’s Agent, Project Management, Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation and Project Recovery. I have completed complex new build, refurbishment and fit out projects throughout the UK and mainland Europe over my career. The complexities of projects quite often relate to the management structures of the assembled teams rather than just the project itself.
Ambitions and Insights
I am proud to have been a part of Stace since 1979 and have over that time been given the opportunity to contribute towards moulding and evolving our ethos and core values. Fundamentally the sustainability and success of our business is based upon its people and whether our clients like us and regard us as the best. We have a culture which is based upon creating an environment where our people are able to grow, develop and have their career aspirations fulfilled from within our business. My ambition is to ensure that our philosophy and ethos continues to develop and evolve based upon these these core values.
