Professional motivation:
I want to be integral to the client’s delivery ambitions by ensuring value for money is achieved through the most favourable procurement strategies, robust selection processes and management and control of development costs from inception to completion. I recognise that each member of the construction team has their own motivations and success criteria and I actively work to blend these together to focus on the job at hand – delivery on time to best quality at the right price.
Main areas of expertise:
I have wide experience in all aspects of Cost Management and have specialised in leisure, health and fitness, new commercial developments, refurbishment and fitting out of commercial, retail and residential developments. I have in-depth experience of a wide variety of contracts including traditional, design and build, construction management, management contracting and ICE forms and how best to apply these to the client’s requirements.

It is more important than ever that Cost Managers are flexible to the constantly changing needs of clients and their professional teams. New working innovations and responsibilities emerge regularly, particularly in relation to the environment so that we must be diligent in learning how to respond in a responsible and ethical but economic and sustainable way to these challenges.
